Quality Assurance System Program for SPMC

The two-day Quality Assurance System program conducted by LEAN Academy Sri Lanka for the staff of The State Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Corporation of Sri Lanka (SPMC) on 21 and 22 March 2023 was a resounding success. The program, designed to equip SPMC staff with the essential knowledge and skills to ensure the highest standards of quality assurance system practices, was delivered by Dr.Sabarathne. Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, participants were able to learn about industry best practices in quality assurance systems, regulatory compliance, quality control, risk assessment, Failure Mode Effect Analysis(FMEA) and related documentation. The training was conducted at the SPMC training center, providing a convenient and comfortable learning environment for the participants. Overall, the program was well-received by the SPMC staff, who expressed their appreciation for the valuable insights and knowledge gained during the training. The successful collaboration between LEAN Academy Sri Lanka and SPMC highlights the importance of continuous learning and development in the pharmaceutical industry
